Insomniac, the company behind Electric Daisy Carnival, will launch the inaugural World Party Parade on the Las Vegas Strip on the evening of May 14, 2026. The free, all-ages event begins at 6 p.m. and will feature more than 30 art cars equipped with large-scale sound systems, DJs, and hundreds of colorful performers.

The parade will transform Las Vegas Boulevard into a moving dance floor as it travels along the north end of the Strip, passing landmarks including the Sahara, Fontainebleau, the Peppermill, Resorts World Las Vegas, Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, and Hilton Grand Vacations Club.

The statement announcing the event explains how the parade has been created with a strong connection to our shared values and beliefs, according to Insomniac's founding partner, Pasquale Rotella: "It's always exciting to bring something new to life, but the World Party Parade feels deeply personal. It's unlike anything we've done before… The idea of bringing people together to celebrate dance music culture right on the Las Vegas Strip through a music parade is something we've dreamed about for a long time."

The organizers want the parade to appeal broadly, from longtime festival attendees to local families, by providing access to the music and community typically associated with Insomniac events. In addition, the decision to make the parade free and open to all ages was purposeful and designed to provide access for everyone, from returnees to new attendees.

The World Party Parade will also serve as the official kickoff to EDC Las Vegas 2026, which marks the festival's 30th anniversary and runs May 15–17 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
