Tailgate Beach Club, a sports-driven dayclub taking over the former Daylight Beach Club space at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, will open Saturday, May 16, with a grand opening performance by Snoop Dogg. Just in time for the NBA and NHL Playoffs, this opening establishes the site as the ultimate place on the Strip for fans to enjoy a huge game atmosphere outdoors.

The 50,000-square-foot venue features more than 125 feet of LED screens, creating a 360-degree viewing environment, three heated pools for year-round use, and a capacity of up to 2,000 guests. Cabanas are stocked with PlayStation consoles and games, including beer pong, foosball, and ping pong, while a game-day menu offers items including Mini Philly Cheesesteaks, MVP Slider Trays, and the Paloma Twist cocktail, among other food and drink options.

"Vegas knows how to throw a party, and Tailgate Beach Club sounds like it's bringing a whole new vibe to the Strip," Snoop relays to Billboard. "I'm excited to come out, rock with the crowd, and help get things started."

The project is a collaboration between Clique Hospitality, founded by Andy Masi, and MGM Resorts, continuing a partnership that has produced multiple food, beverage, and nightlife concepts across the Las Vegas resort corridor. The venue will also serve as a hub for BetMGM users, with hosted viewing parties and exclusive in-app rewards.

"We couldn't think of a better person to help us open the doors than Snoop Dogg. He's a true lover of sports and embodies the kind of laid-back, high-energy vibe Tailgate Beach Club is bringing to the Las Vegas Strip," said Andy Masi, founder of Clique Hospitality, in a statement. "Snoop knows how to bring people together to have fun, celebrate, and enjoy the moment, and that is exactly the tone we want to set from day one."

Beyond sports, Tailgate Beach Club will host watch parties for major reality TV finales and other trending pop culture events, broadening its appeal across fan bases. Cabanas, bungalows, and general admission tickets are available via the venue's website at tailgatebeachclub.com.

"Tailgate Beach Club is an exciting addition to Mandalay Bay and another way we continue to evolve our guests' resort experience," said Ben Kott, Mandalay Bay's SVP and general manager. "This concept blends the excitement of live sporting events with the atmosphere of a Las Vegas dayclub, delivering a unique way for fans to gather, celebrate, and experience the energy of The Strip."
